![]() There are also popping and cracking sounds, but my surgeon told that it is normal and go away with time. I can easily do a 3 km walk, but I feel then that the leg is a bit tired. The knee still doesn't look "normal" yet. Sometimes, uncomfortable movement also triggers some pain. Some degree of pain on the inner side of the knee while walking (not continuously, but it occurs). Now, I am 5 months after TKR in one week and still encounter difficulties. Due to trauma that I had when I was a teenager, my surgery was not a simple TKR, but surgeons made my leg straight and a bit longer. I was very active before surgery, traveled much and now I sometimes feel depressed and full of doubts whether my life will come back to normal. Unfortunately, I could not even imagine that the recovery will be so difficult. Unfortunatelly, there is no this kind of forum for TKR recovery patients in Lithuania and I found this site a great support for me. I am very happy that I found this site as it is very informative.
